Terms of Service
Effective date: April 21, 2026 · Last updated: April 21, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at theclosetrehab.com (“Website”) operated by The Closet Rehab (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a custom-storage design and installation company serving Charlotte, North Carolina and the surrounding Carolinas region. By accessing or using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
2. Scope of Information
Content on this Website is provided for general informational purposes about our custom closet, pantry, garage, home-office, laundry, mud-room, wall-bed, and related home-organization services. Pricing, timeframes, service availability, and project details shown on the Website are estimates based on typical conditions and are not binding quotes. A binding quote is only provided after an in-home design consultation and is delivered in writing.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Website, its servers, or networks.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the content without written permission.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Submit false information through any contact, consultation, or estimate form.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website — including text, photographs, before-and-after images, logos, graphics, videos, page layouts, and the underlying code — is the property of The Closet Rehab or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may view, print, or download content solely for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
5. Customer Content
If you submit photos, room measurements, project details, or other content to us through a form or email, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content for the purpose of providing you a design, an estimate, or completing your project. We will not publicly publish recognizable photos of your home or business without your permission.
6. Warranty & Service Terms
Warranty terms for our completed work are provided in writing with each individual project proposal or invoice and are governed by that proposal. Nothing on this Website constitutes a warranty by itself. Any workmanship warranty is voided by damage from misuse, neglect, structural modifications performed by third parties, or overloading beyond rated capacity.
7. Disclaimers
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the content for any particular purpose. Photographs are representative and individual results vary with room configuration, materials selected, and installation conditions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Closet Rehab and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Website is limited to one hundred dollars ($100).
This limitation does not apply to our liability for completed service work, which is governed by your individual signed project proposal and applicable North Carolina law.
9. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party website. Linking to a third party does not imply endorsement.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the current version took effect. Your continued use of the Website after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from your use of the Website are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Closet Rehab regarding your use of the Website and supersede any prior agreements, representations, or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the same subject matter. Signed project proposals or service contracts between you and The Closet Rehab govern the specific services you purchase and control in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to give effect to the intent of the parties, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law, and Indemnification — will remain in effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms on any particular occasion shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision, nor a waiver of any subsequent breach. No waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of The Closet Rehab.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Closet Rehab, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your misuse of the Website; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any content you submit to us through the Website.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. Any attempt by you to assign or transfer these Terms without such consent will be null and void. We may assign or transfer these Terms, at our sole discretion, without restriction.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, supply-chain interruption, government action, or utility or telecommunications failures.
